LOMO Square Front Anamorphic Lenses
LOMO Square Front 2x anamorphics are vintage Russian lenses made in the 1970s. These lenses are praised for their quirky, horizontal lens flare and fantastic shallow depth of field. Anamorphics work by “squeezing” the standard image into a skinnier image frame on an applicable 4:3 capable camera. (I.e. Arri Alexa Mini). Then, “expanding” the image in post to give you that amazingly epic 2.35:1 ratio. They have beautiful, smooth bokeh, and pinpoint highlights are rendered as ovals at all T stops. They produce some of the best lens flares of any anamorphic lens, delivering stunning cyan and "blue streak" lens flares.

This set has been modified to fit ARRI, RED, SONY cameras and uses genuine stainless steel PL-mounts by ARRI. The focus scales are engraved in feet (imperial). The lens is matte box and follow focus friendly. The 35mm, 50mm and 80mm will require the need of a rodded matte box and donut.
